Bestellung am 25.08.2026 aufgegeben, die Lieferung erfolgte am 10.09.2026. Der 40x40x2,5 Stein war derart verpackt, der hätte auch einen mehrfachen Überschlag des Zustellfahrzeugs überlebt. Lediglich das Ausbleiben von Antworten auf meine Mails ist zu beanstanden. Eine kurze Antwort sollte immer drin sein, wenn man eine Kontaktaufnahme anbietet. Alles in allem ist das Unternehmen sehr zu empfehlen. Gerne wieder.

From nightmare to perfekt,
I got the biscotto stones to the ooni coda 2 max. But the nightmare part was, both stones was broken. I send a mail to the company, and the CEO Tom not only got back to me THE SAME DAY!! But also send me new stones the very next day. Unbelievable service. I know getting a stone send to you this is the fear that it breaks. But with this level of service, thats why i get my stones from Biscotto Stones International. Amazing service can only give the highest recommendation this company.

Don't take a chance with Biscotto Stones - bad customer service
UPDATE 2: Biscotto Stones are very expensive. The final resolution of my case after many months is "deal with a damaged product." This is not satisfactory to me for the price paid, particularly the time to non-resolution. I have purchased one before without issue, but I will not buy anything from this company again. Again, patronize at your own risk. UPDATE: Biscotto Stones confirmed receipt of the photos, but still no resolution. I cannot recommend doing business with this company. I received a damaged stone, with no apparent external damage to the packaging. I notified Biscotto Stones, and they requested photos of the packaging, which was provided. I've not heard anything from them since. I'm out several hundred $ between the stone, shipping, and duties, and I have nothing I can use. Don't take your chances with this company.

After been in discussions with DHL's insurance company, they still referring to that this is a handmade product and small chips can happen, but this does not affect the performance of the stone. This is the same as I stated in the email to you.
So giving us a service review of 1 of 5, is not reflecting the time and energi we have used on your case.
Again! the chip is not affecting the performance, so saying that you can not use the stone is not the truth.

The stones for my gozney dome S1 are fantastic. They were a perfect fit. I ordered 1 to test the product as the $444 cost felt a bit steep, that was including shipping to the US though, but after running one all day, I instantly bought a second one. Top quality product, and absolutely made cooking my high hydration contemporary Neapolitan pizza a breeze compared to the cordorite ones they come with.

Updated review. Biscotto Stones promptly reached out regarding my issue. Top notch customer service. Would gladly order from them again. Thank you for doing good business! Poorly packaged to be shipped overseas. Product made it, but sustained moderate damage to stone. Hole for burner (not the ash bin) was cut extremely poorly and looks as if VERY little care was taken causing it to be very much of an oval, as opposed to a circle. The opposite hole (ash bin) was cut MUCH better. For the cost, I would expect a much higher quality product. I do understand that it is hand cut stone, and still strongly feel that the quality is lacking.

Sorry if part of the floor had some flaws around the hole for the gas. That should not have been sent out iof it's as bad as you have described. Please send me some pictures (tom@biscottostones.com), and I will see what it looks like.
I also wonder if there was any loose parts layiong in the packaging? there are normally extra syroform supporting the holes on the stones that you ordered. All shippments are insured during transport, so if thats the case, I could have claimed that if we had been contacted within 48 hours after you received the stones.
But anyway.
I'll credit you some that we can discuss privatly in an email communication.

Best upgrade I have done to my Ooni…
Best upgrade I have done to my Ooni Koda 16. No more problems making multiple Pizzas when having a party, crust and bottom come out perfect each time. A small adjustment had to be made to the burners while cooking, as this stone sits a bit higher than the OEM stone.

The reason the stones are shipped from Norway is that my company is located in Norway. I’m working on getting approval to have a custom storage, and if I get approval, the stones will on paper still be in the EU.

I was asked to pay 180€ extra at customs
Too many hidden costs, at first you have the impression that this ships from Naples, Italy as it says "handmade in naples all over their website." Next, in all their items it states "tax included" which implies that you pay the tax during your purchase, the only tax I was expected to pay was the vat for the shipping cost, as it is stated on their website, but that was not the case! I was asked to pay 180€ for vat, customs and customs handling by DHL Greece! That is a lot of money for a 130$ item +70$ shipping

Shipped and arrived a day early. I ordered the 12 inch stone for my ooni volt. It was 1/4 smaller than ooni stone and twice as thick. I seasoned it and baked my first pizza in it. Best thing didn't burn the bottom, and cooked helped brown the entire upper crust perfecto. Happy I bought this stone.

Perfect for Ooni Koda 16” with turntable
The stone arrived pretty quickly and is definitely hand made. I did my first cook on it after following the seasoning process in the instructions and it is amazing. Perfect Neapolitan pizza!! My old stone used to get too hot and burn the underside.

Hundreds of hours and going strong
I'm in the market to get a large domed oven. One of the things I've learned is that the floors can wear out over time. Stones from Biscotto Stones International are made from the same material I understand that is used in some of the best ovens in Italy and around the world. I can testify that the Biscotto Stone in the Ooni Koda here in Maryland is still going strong even after what I estimate are hundreds of hours of use. That is, around two hundred plus hours with the flame on in the oven. I use this outdoor oven in all seasons. I'm firing it up in freezing temperatures in the winter going sometimes from around 30 degrees Fahrenheit to over 900 degrees. The stone is still intact after that kind of repeated thermal shock. I've certainly got my money's worth, and if this stone ever does give up I'll just order another. Thanks Tom Fiksdalstrand and all those at Biscotto Stones International!

Super fast shipping. I received my stone in like 3 days. I seasoned it in my Ooni Karu 16 and cooked pizzas in it yesterday. I can already tell that cooking pizzas is going to be more fun because the bottom cooks much more even and burning is not a worry now.
